Week 7

Nature’s Beauty

Nature is amazing. There are so many parts of nature. It can vary from the rocky mountains in the Appalachians, to the roaring rivers in Colorado. It is something that I would never get bored looking at. Lurking in the nature also contains a plethora of types of species of animals of all different shapes and sizes. The best thing about it, is that nature is everywhere.

One thing I love about nature is the beautiful ocean. The ocean is one of the most beautiful places in the world. With the moonlight or sunshine reflecting off of it as the surface of the glistening water. It is just awe taking. Also, there is so much of the ocean that hasn’t been explored yet, so it is full of mysteries. We don’t know what could be living in the deep depths of the ocean which makes it so mysterious and interesting. Also, the ocean surrounds us for the Earth is 70% ocean after all. One of the greatest things about the ocean, is the tide. The ocean is constantly moving. It has powerful waves that can be from tiny ripples to 100ft waves or even tsunami’s. It is almost like the ocean has a mind of its own and is a living organism. If you want to learn more about the ocean, here is a link: http://www.factmonster.com/world/geography/oceans.html

Another thing that I love about nature are volcanoes. For those of you who don’t know, a volcano is a mountain that explodes to release a pool of molten rock below the surface of the earth. Volcanoes are very interesting, but are also very dangerous. Volcanos can knock down entire forests and can even cause natural disasters such as earthquakes or tsunamis. There are many volcanoes around the world, and many are still active or even overdue an eruption. The volcano in yellowstone is 40,000 years overdue an eruption. Volcanoes aren’t just on land, but are also in the sea. 15,000 volcanoes on land are still active, but there are many more in the sea but the number of those volcanoes is unknown.  To learn more about volcanoes, visit this site: http://www.weatherwizkids.com/weather-volcano.htm Nature is a beautiful place that surrounds both you and me.
